IBM PureSystems: IBM is already putting PureSystems to work for our ecosystem of Business Partners and customers via a new breed of software called Patterns of Expertise. These patterns are designed to radically streamline the set-up and management of hardware and software resources.
PureSystems is the first system to integrate server, storage, networking, and platform middleware resources into a secure and simple-to-manage system featuring "built-in expertise" - the bottling up, delivery, and automation of decades of IBM's client engagements, established best practices, innovative thinking, and industry leadership. Find out more.
Mobile: IBM unveiled it's first Mobile Foundation. Made up of IBM software and services, Mobile Foundation spans application development to device management and security, and integration. According to IBM studies, this market opportunity will be more than $36B by 2015. IBM has been steadily investing in this space through acquisitions such as Worklight, BigFix, and Cast Iron, as well as our own organic Research and Development. Read the IBM press release.
Updates to core capabilities: IBM continues to deliver new core capabilities our customers rely on. The Application and Integration Middleware (AIM) platform continues to evolve as our clients needs change and grow.
