To be approved for Social Business Capability Authorization you must meet the following criteria:

  1. 1 primary + 1 secondary product, or
    1 Primary product from the product group Digital Experience1

  1. Be Product Group approved for each product in your solution.
  2. Register your social business solution in the IBM Global Solutions Directory.

    The solution, whether a value-add application or services practice, must be registered as a Verified Business Partner Solution in the Global Solutions Directory and requires:

    1. End user client verification to confirm the solution and its minimum solution content is running in a production environment
    2. Marketing verification to confirm the solution and its IBM product content is actively marketed
  3. Submit the required number of references.

Three (3) are required for North America and European Economic Union Business Partners, and two (2) from all other countries.

A reference is a client whom you've implemented your solution and/or products which has been submitted to and approved by an IBM process. Approved IBM processes can include, but are not limited to:

  1. Solutions submitted without Social SW & Unified Communications products must include Digital Experience products and must be approved by board review. The board review requires solution demonstration and review of both pre- and post-sales support plans. IBM will schedule the board review when all eligibility criteria have been achieved.
  2. A solution submitted with both Social SW & Unified Communications and Digital Experience products may be approved either by Verified Business Partner Solution, or, by board review.
  3. A Verified Business Partner Solution requires a verified client and qualifies as 1 of the reference requirements.
