The winning solution will have the following characteristics:
- The solution is either:
- Developed, sold and deployed with an IBM hosted cloud offering, or
- Developed, sold and deployed on a Business Partner hosted cloud.
- Integrates products from the IBM Analytics portfolio with Business Partner-developed capabilities.
- Provides clear descriptions of how the solution utilizes IBM Analytics technology to drive business outcomes.
- Includes demonstrable, proven, pre-built components or assets which can be applied to deliver repeatable business value.
- Includes a specific and unique brand identity; is market identifiable and different than the IBM software product name.
Additional Criteria:
- Minimum of 1 (maximum of 3) client references.
- Consideration will be given for solutions that demonstrate a high degree of cross-IBM integration and/or integrate two or more IBM Analytics offerings.
This award recognizes an IBM Business Partner that most effectively delivers an integrated line-of-business or industry solution that empowers business users to transform the job roles in their organization by using analytics, effective visualization capabilities and/or predictive analytics to find new opportunities and revenue streams to outperform the competition. The solution should include one or more product(s) from the IBM Analytics Portfolio, address specific client business needs and be a repeatable solution in one industry or across several industries.
The winning solution will have the following characteristics:
- Integrates products from the IBM Analytics portfolio with Business Partner-developed solution capabilities.
- Provides clear descriptions of how the solution utilizes IBM Analytics technology to drive business outcomes.
- Includes demonstrable, proven, pre-built components or assets which can be applied to deliver repeatable business value.
- Includes a specific and unique brand identity; is market identifiable and different than the IBM software product name.

- Includes demonstrable, proven, pre-built components or assets which can be applied to deliver repeatable business value.
- Includes a specific and unique brand identity; is market identifiable and different than the IBM software product name.

This award recognizes an IBM Business Partner that has been in business for less than 5 years who offers the most outstanding cloud-based solution built on IBM Cloud to help their clients transform their industries. The Business Partner should not only be an innovator in cloud computing but recognized for the value their solution brings to an industry. The ideal candidate for this award will articulate how developing their solution(s) on IBM Cloud enabled them to deliver new or increased benefit to their client and drove demonstrable business outcomes.

This award recognizes an IBM Business Partner who offers the most compelling solution utilizing the on-premise and/or off-premise capabilities or technology provided by IBM. The Business Partner should be an innovator in the cloud computing space and demonstrate how their solution delivered value to their client’s on-premise cloud initiative or leveraged IBM off-premise or as-a-service capabilities to extend the client’s on-premise cloud to a hybrid environment.
The Business Partner should articulate how the cloud solution(s) enabled their firm to deliver new value, increase revenue, decrease costs or increase benefit to their client as well as driving demonstrable business outcomes.

- Special consideration will be given to solutions which demonstrate a high degree of IBM software, hardware and services integration.
This award recognizes an IBM Business Partner who offers the most outstanding cloud-based solution built on IBM Bluemix and leverages: mobile, big data and analytics, and /or The Internet of Things. The Business Partner should be considered an innovator in the cloud computing space and recognized for the value-add their solution brings to the market.
The ideal candidate for this award should articulate how developing their solution(s) on IBM Bluemix enabled them to deliver new or increased benefit to their client and drove demonstrable business outcomes.

- Special consideration will be given for solutions leveraging 3rd-party applications within Bluemix.
This award recognizes an IBM Business Partner who offers the most compelling solution utilizing IBM Cloud infrastructure-as-a-service capabilities. The solution must include one or more of the following IBM cloud infrastructure offerings: SoftLayer, Cloud Managed Services (CMS) or Automated Modular Management (AMM). The service or solution provider, ISV, or integrator should be considered an innovator in the cloud computing space and be recognized for the value-add their solution brings to the market, whether as a new offering or as an existing offering transformed successfully to the cloud.
The ideal candidate for this award should articulate how the use of IBM Cloud infrastructure technology enabled or enhanced the value of their service or solution, delivered new or increased benefit to their clients and drove demonstrable business outcomes.

Outstanding Commerce Solution
This award recognizes an IBM Business Partner who brings an outstanding Consumer-to-Business solution to market that integrates the front and back office (i.e., marketing, customer analytics, eCommerce and merchandising, procurement, B2B integration and payments).
The innovative solution should incorporate and lead with the IBM Commerce portfolio enabling clients with the ability to put their customers at the center, build lasting relationships and inspire advocacy. This award distinguishes the Business Partner who is delivering new levels of company differentiation leading to greater brand loyalty, revenue/margin growth and agility.

Outstanding Mobile Enterprise Solution
This award recognizes an IBM Business Partner that has helped clients re-imagine their business process in the context of a mobile enterprise. For example, efficiently building and deploying mobile applications that run smoothly on a wide variety of devices; connecting with clients in context to create deeper engagement; taking advantage of hybrid and/or cloud environments to afford/extend solution value to employees and clients; integrating mobile into the fabric of the organization; and/or creating new value for the client/organization at the moment of awareness.
Nominations should include IBM MobileFirst solutions, with a primary focus on the IBM MobileFirst Platform and can also incorporate solutions including, but not limited to, IBM Bluemix Mobile Cloud Services, Cloudant, Softlayer, IBM Presence Insights, IBM Mobile Customer Engagement and IBM MobileFirst Protect/MaaS360. Submitted solutions that take advantage of multiple components of the IBM MobileFirst Portfolio, as well as those that take advantage of hybrid and/or cloud environments will receive additional consideration.
Additional criteria:
- Minimum of 1 (maximum of 3) client references required describing how the client’s organization has benefitted from the Business Partner’s solution designed using IBM MobileFirst.
- The reference(s) should demonstrate how the solution transformed the client’s value chain, customer experience, growth, revenue, productivity, solution maintenance and ROI boost including quantifiable metrics.
- Special consideration will be given to solutions that demonstrate a high degree of cross IBM integration.
This award recognizes an innovative IBM Business Partner who has proven success with IBM Watson Explorer as the on-ramp for Cognitive Computing. The winner of this award must demonstrate how Watson Explorer brings together structured and unstructured data and provides a 360 view of information. The Business Partner must show how Watson Explorer enabled the client to derive compelling insights and identify trends, patterns and relationships in data.
The winning solution will have the following characteristics:
- Uses Watson Explorer capabilities to bring together information from many sources for broad topic searches, with a contextual 360 view of any entity or topic

Enables deep content analysis and advanced visualization of structured and unstructured data.

Is able to integrate to Watson Developer Cloud Cognitive Services on Bluemix or Powered by Watson applications from the Watson Ecosystem portfolio.

Drives tangible business value to the client and to IBM's and the Business Partner's revenue growth through high-value services.

This award recognizes an innovative IBM Business Partner who has proven success building Health solutions using IBM Watson Health technologies, in support of Continuum of Care or Life Sciences use cases. Business Partners may leverage Watson Cognitive Services available on IBM Bluemix, or any other elements of the Watson Health portfolio such as Explorys, Phytel, Curam.
The winner of this award must demonstrate the application of Watson Health technologies to one or more of the key solution areas: Population Health Management, Condition-Specific Care, Health and Wellness, Social Program Management, Real World Evidence and/or Discovery Solutions.
The winning solution will have the following characteristics:
The Business Partner has included one or more elements from across the Watson Health portfolio including, but not limited to the following:
- Explorys datasets and analytics tools,
- Curam solutions, open APIs and/or mobile front-end
- Phytel population health management solutions
- Powered by Watson applications from the Watson Ecosystem portfolio
- Watson Cognitive Services available on IBM Bluemix
- Data or innovations from strategic Watson Health partnerships such as Apple, CVS, Medtronic, etc.
- Must be shown to drive tangible business value to the client and to IBM's and the Business Partner's revenue growth through high-value services.

Outstanding Social Business Solution
This award recognizes an outstanding IBM Business Partner who helped to create business impact by developing a Social Business solution that empowers people to connect, collaborate and innovate inside and outside of their organization.
The winning solution would have delivered compelling business results using one or more of the following capabilities:
- Enterprise wide collaboration
- Social strategies
- Behavioral science and analytics
- Extra consideration will be given to solutions that are in the cloud and leverage mobile functionality.
Additional criteria:
- Minimum of 1 (maximum of 3) client references required.
- Special consideration will be given to solutions that demonstrate the overall business value of becoming a social business with documented, quantifiable business results; build solutions that leverage multiple products in the IBM social business portfolio which exploit analytics and leverage cloud in the solution; and focus on either a horizontal business function (e.g., Human Resources, Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.) or a unique vertical industry.
Outstanding Security Solution
This award recognize a Business Partner in a technology relationship with IBM who has developed an innovative solution or product extension that leverages the latest IBM security technologies.
The winning solution will have the following characteristics:
- It is proven or repeatable and is focused on solving a specific business problem related to security.
- It must have a unique brand identity which is different from the IBM solution. Particular consideration will be given to those solutions incorporating multiple IBM Security products.

Outstanding Smarter Workforce/Kenexa Solution
This award recognizes an outstanding IBM Business Partner who helped to create business impact by developing a Smarter Workforce solution that helps to ensure a best-fit, engaged and talented workforce that will develop deeper client relationships while driving measurable business results.
The winning solution would have delivered compelling business results using one or more of the following capabilities:
- Talent Acquisition
- Talent Optimization – eg. Learn, Talent Frameworks
- Rewards and Recognition – Assessments/Surveys/Compensation
Additional criteria:
