Achieving Advanced or Premier participation level as an ISV in PartnerWorld has its rewards, including enhanced sales and marketing benefits that can directly impact your bottom line. You can differentiate yourself from the competition and increase your visibility with IBM executives, sales teams, and other Business Partners as a leader in your industry or region.
Qualification for participation levels is based on your company's attainment according to a points table. You can earn points in four categories:
- Client references
- Customer satisfaction
An ISV can earn points in the skills category through a Verified Business Partner Solution. There are two types of Business Partner solutions that can qualify for points: Business Partner products and Business Partner services. You apply for Verified Business Partner Solution points through the Global Solutions Directory. Your solution must be a repeatable, for sale solution which leverages IBM hardware, software or services.
IBM will verify your client solution in two steps: by reviewing the content of the solution and confirming how it leverages IBM hardware, software or services; and by confirming with a client who has your solution installed. Once verified, you can earn a minimum of four points per product with a maximum of eight points per solution.
IBM will give credit for the content part of the verification in cases where an existing verification method has recently been performed. The client component will be required.
